I Miss the One Sport That I Love

March 26th was the 14th birthday of my brother Dylan. Its hard to believe that he is getting so old and mature. I still see him as like an eight year old. NOw i feel like the older relatives who always mention how tall ive grown even though ive been the same hegiht for like 7 years. We went to scandia and played some golf and raced some cars. But the best part of the night was simply going to the batting cages. I cannot remember the last time i hit a ball. Me with all my testosterone (cant spell very well) had to go into the fastest cage, which was only 70mph. Now since it has been so long since someone pitched a ball to me i was slightly nervous that i was going to look soooo stupid. Surprisingly i was rocking those balls, they couldnt hang with me. Then i had a huge boost of confidence and it made me miss playing the most awesome sport of all time. I miss this sport sooooooooo much.

Another Normal Day shooting in Santa Cruz

So my whole spring break i am working on a film called "for the record" Today we shot in Santa Cruz, and man there are many stories to tell from that shoot. But this one reigns supreme (i used reign supreme in the last blog but i like it). There is this man who takes baby steps like from "what about Bob" when walking downtown Santa Cruz. So this man, wearing a pink dress, tighst, makeup, and having a pink umbrella walks right up to all of our equipment and just stands right in front of it. After about 2 hours a random Homeless person tells us that he is not goin to move because our stuff is blocking the exact path that he HAS to walk every day. So 1/2 of our crew moved all this equipment about 2 feet back so he can walk by, and what do ya know he started walking. It was crazy but hilarious.

I am having a blast on this set, I am 1st AC which is Assistant camera, I am in charge of pullin focus and canging lenses and setting up and putting away the camera and stuff. But since there is no other AC's i have to do other things to like slate and camera report and sometimesload the film, but usually Mariah does it because she is faster. Anyways if you want to see pics of the set go to http://fluidfilmworks.com/

Cute Buddies Reign Supreme

Last Night was the Mario Party War Round #2. It was the "Royal Pain" which consisted of Mr Glen Smallman and Scotty Do from KTOM vs the "Cute Buddies" which consisted of the red man himself, Mr. Mattew Swan and Myself. It was a close race throughout the whole game. Both teams ended up with 6 stars, but when it came down to the wire it was all about the coins. "Royal Pain" had a little over 50 and the "Cute Buddies" had over 300, so guess who won that bad boy. "Royal Pain" 1 "Cute Buddies" 1. Thats right its tied and the game breaker is gunna be off da hiznook.

Friendship is Golden

This is dedicated to all my friends and family who love me. I want to let you know that i love you very much and i will do anything for ya.

Never take a friend for granted.
When you start to ignore there existence it hurts them a lot.
Especially if you and your friend are supposed to be so close that you are almost like siblings.
Also it hurts them when they know you are better than this.
Never take a friend for granted.
Becuase if you do it once then your going to do it again.
Your current group of friends will turn into the old not used group.
And the viscious cycle will continue.
Never take a friend for granted.
The more you push the less you get to know about this wonderful human being
This human being might see what you feel about this friendship.
And because of your abuse, this human being might not be there for you when you need them the most.
